I want to share with you that we appreciate the opportunity to have on-going, job embedded professional development each Friday afternoon in Pinckney Community Schools. We have extended our learning minutes Monday through Thursday to allow for our weekly early release of students for educator training. Our staff focus for learning this year is primarily focused on our new Journeys reading materials, our updated Math Expressions materials and the Next Generation Science Standards as they relate to Phenomenal Science units of study. We are currently working with data study teams to examine results from fall assessments (some are still ongoing) to establish professional growth goals and student learning goals for the school year.
