This week, Student Government members attended a Leadership Training Institute offered through the Michigan Association of Student Councils, focused on group dynamics, communication techniques, managing groups more effectively, resources on event planning, team building, soft skills, and time management. We are hoping they will use topics they learned in Student Government, in other student groups, and in their classrooms! #studentled

French 3 & 4 students wrote Dear Abby letters and then offered one another advice, all in the target language. Some impressive French communication!

At PCHS, the staff is collaborating to grow our capacity to facilitate classroom environments that prioritize positive student-teacher and student-student relationships and community building. One of our strategies for this is the use of restorative circles. Today, Spanish 1 students are engaging in a modified version of the “21 Shoulders” circle activity to practice counting up and down in Spanish!


Aiden Ozias, Pinckney grad and current student at Eastern Michigan, built these beautiful picnic tables for us as his Eagle Scout project. Thank you, Aiden!
