Olympian, Jake Vedder returned to PCS and presented to Navigator Elementary students about his experiences as a professional athlete including the hard work and challenges. He promoted the value of setting goals, positive self talk and determination in every aspect your life.

Students are learning volleyball skills (serving and passing the ball) in PE class.
We continue to enjoy the book. The Adventures of a South Pole Pig. The 4th grade students are filling the “South Pole” with pigs. Each day 2 lucky students win a book from our daily raffle trivia question about the story. It is a fun way to read and enjoy a story together.
Today Pinckney elementary schools (Navigator, Country, Farley Hill) held book reveal assemblies for One District, One Book. Each school held a unique assembly. At Navigator, staff performed a short skit giving clues about the theme and title of the story. The Adventures of a South Pole Pig is the book our families, staff and students are reading together during the month of March.
The after school Flight Club had a guest speaker at their last session on Tuesday. It was a pilot from Delta Airline.
It was a fun and entertaining evening watching the performers during the Navigator Talent Show. A special thanks to Gayle Hurn, our Navigator PTO and parent volunteers for coordinating the event for our students and families.
4th grade students created and performed short skits to teach the meaning of key vocabulary words in a story they are reading.
One District, One Book is coming to Pinckney's elementary schools.

In Navigator PE classes, Mr. Goodfellow invited parents to participate in class with their child this week. Everyone had a great time (and work hard) during the activities.
