Little Pirates Preschool
Our highly-qualified teachers use the Orton Gillingham methodology and all five pillars of literacy-plus language comprehension to drive measurable gains for all students. Our programs are located within our elementary schools to give our youngest learners exposure to the elementary school setting. In addition, our preschool teachers work closely with our K-2 teachers to help students prepare for their next step, kindergarten!

Program Cost and GSRP Partnership
Rates for the '24-25 and '25-26 school years are listed below. You may choose to pay your child's tuition in full by September 1 and receive a 10% discount. Please email khultgren@pinckneypirates.org to have the discount applied.
Additionally, our GSRP partnership with LESA continues for the '25-26 school year and is available to students enrolled in our Four Year Old (full and half day) and Three Year Old (full day*) programs! We're encouraging all of our families who meet the age qualifications* to apply for free tuition. Email khultgren@pinckneypirates.org for information about the '25-26 school year.
*Students must turn 4 by Dec. 1, 2025
Please note: You must apply for GSRP through the LESA application (link coming soon) AND enroll in Little Pirates Preschool (completing one does not transfer to the other). Additionally, any documents submitted to GSRP are not shared with Little Pirates Preschool; you must also submit the required documents (below) to khultgren@pinckneypirates.org.
To register
New families must create an account at pinckney.ce.eleyo.com. A $100 registration fee will be charged to reserve a place in the program. In addition to the online forms, the child's birth certificate, a doctor-signed health appraisal, and a current immunization record must be turned into the Community Education Office by emailing khultgren@pinckneypirates.org. Failure to submit these forms may cause you to lose your spot within the program.

Eligibility
Students must be 3 by Sept. 1, 2025 for the Three Year Old programs
Students must be 4 by Sept. 1, 2025 for the Four Year Old programs
All children in the preschool program must be completely toilet trained and be able to independently use the restrooms (No diapers or pull-ups are allowed unless medically necessary).
Latchkey is available to preschoolers before and after school for an additional fee.
Friday Child Care is available for those students attending any of the four-day preschool programs. The cost is $30 per week (this cost is not covered by GSRP and is the responsibility of the contract-owner). Families must commit to all available Fridays; if your child is not in attendance, you will still be billed. This program will follow the school calendar. Parents provide lunch and snacks for their child. To sign up for Friday Care, please mark "yes" to question 5 in the online registration, or email khultgren@pinckneypirates.org.
