Pinckney Community Schools Board of Education is made up of caring representatives of our community, committed to the education of the families of our district.

Meet the Board

Michelle Crampo

Michelle Crampo
President
Term: 2022-2029

Mrs. Crampo was appointed in 2006. She has held various positions on the board including Treasurer and Vice President.  She has served on many board committees and has been the board rep on various school committees.  Mrs. Crampo has served on Farley Hill PTO as President and Treasurer, Navigator Upper Elementary Climate Committee, Pathfinder School Improvement Team and Climate Committee, PCHS School Improvement Team and SMILE Reading Program Mentor. She has also chaired many school events.  She was her son’s soccer team manager for 12 years. Mrs. Crampo has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Accounting and Finance and a minor in Systems Analysis. Previously she worked as a Mortgage Officer at Dollar Bank in Pittsburgh.  She has two PCS graduates, three exchange students, and now 2 grandsons starting at PCS.

Matthew Macaig

Term: 2020-2026

Mr. Maciag was appointed in 2018.  He has served on the HS bond renovation project and HS School Improvement Team committees.  He is also the Asst. Track Coach for the middle school team.  Mr. Maciag has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration.  He has education experience in budget management, bond projects, and professional development.  Currently, he is an IT Client Solutions Architect at GM.  He has 3 children at PCS.

Amanda Winningham

Mrs. Winningham was elected in 2018.  She is a PTO Officer at Country Elementary, a volunteer soccer coach for Pinckney Community Education, and a Catechism teacher at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  Mrs. Winningham was a teacher in a nearby district.  Mrs. Winningham has a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education.  She is currently a research technician in a genetics lab at the University of Michigan.  She has 2 children at PCS.

Bill Wearne

Term: 2022-2029

Mr. Wearne was appointed in 2018.  Mr. Wearne has been on the Farley Hill Elementary School Improvement Team, a classroom volunteer, and a member of the WatchDOGS program.  He teaches Sunday School and volunteers with the youth group at Peoples Church.  Mr. Wearne has a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master's in Business Administration.  Currently, he is the Director of Operations and Project Manager for American Print & Bindery.  He has 2 children at PCS.

Mrs. Mueller was appointed in 2017.  She previously held the position of Vice President.  Mrs. Mueller has been on the Navigator School Improvement Team and PTO Treasurer at both Lakeland Elementary and Country Elementary.  She has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.  She is currently a software consultant for Thomson Reuters and a personal trainer.  She has 2 children at PCS.

GAYLE HURN

Mrs. Hurn was appointed in 2022.  She is the PTO Co-President at both Country Elementary and Navigator Upper Elementary.  She serves on the Parent Advisory Team at Navigator Upper Elementary and also coaches soccer.  Mrs. Hurn has a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from EMU and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Applied Drama and Theatre for the Young.  Currently, she works full-time for the City of Ann Arbor running two aquatic facilities.  Mrs. Hurn has also been teaching at EMU for the past 16 years in the Applied Drama and Theatre for the Young Program.  Mrs. Hurn has 4 children at PCS.
