Our FINAL parent mental health night series is next week, April 11 from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at the Pirate Union. Next month's session will be about substance abuse and vaping. In this course, parents will learn about substance abuse, health issues from vaping, and possible mental and emotional influences on their children. The discussion will center around some of the facts behind e-cigarettes and behavioral changes to watch for in your child. In addition, we will answer the big question - how do you talk to your teen about substance abuse and what signs to watch for if you suspect your child is using or addicted to substances.
