Although our students are currently working remotely on Fridays, we are happy to have 26-30 students join us in latchkey at Farley Hill for the day as a service to those working parents who need daycare. Kids are completing school work, having fun and staying safe!

Good afternoon Pirate families! Just want to remind everyone that our mobile food pantry is available this afternoon from 5pm - 6:30pm at the PCS bus garage. Please let anyone know who can benefit from this service to please come by. Thank you! #pirateswhocare

I want to share a loud shout out to our PCS tech department as they have been working around the clock trying to get all of the technology up and running. This small team of four has done a tremendous job and despite the challenges, they always keep smiling!

Best part of my day is when I can stop by and talk with some of our students. Today, these young ladies are enjoying their lunch outside as it is a beautiful first day of fall.

PCS is once again privileged to continue partnering with Gleaners Food Bank in offering our mobile food pantry throughout the year. Please see the attached flyer for all of the necessary info and dates.

In less than just 24 hours from now, our schools, classrooms and homes will be once again filled with the energy and enthusiasm that only the first day can bring. This journey has been long and challenging, but we are ready for whatever comes our way as we are #piratestrong!

We are only one day away from the start of school on Sept. 8 and as I stressed in last weeks video message (https://youtu.be/tP4AQ4CKbsk), it is imperative that parents self screen their child(ren) prior to sending them to school as healthy kids + healthy staff = successful year!

It was so great having all of our amazing PCS staff back today as they prepare for welcoming our Pirates back next week. Despite the newfound challenges we face, I am filled with inspiration as they are determined to be positive and creative in making this year one of the best!
