Reminder: PCS will be offering our Mobile Food Pantry this Wed. from 4pm-6pm at the bus garage. Available food will consist of Chicken Fajita Strips, White Rice, Peanut Butter, Orange Juice, Frozen Liquid Eggs, Fruit & Nut Mix, Tomato Sauce, Walnuts and Frozen Peach Cups.
In honor of our amazing 2020 Senior class, we will begin displaying our lights at both Pirate Stadium and Wes Reader Field at 8:20pm for 20 minutes, 20 seconds on Friday evenings. We are so proud of our Seniors as they truly represent what it means to be a Pirate. #Pirates2020

Reminder that our Farley Food Pantry is open today from 1-3:30 and will also be distributing school lunch/breakfast from 4-5 at Pathfinder.
We are getting word that some HS students are discussing a plan to gather at the HS parking lot to see one another and although we understand their intent is not disruptive or "bad" in nature, we cannot condone or permit this to occur as their safety and health is paramount. We encourage parents to please discourage this behavior as this can encourage and promote behavior that could put our community at risk and does not send the message we want as a district as we are working hard to minimize the spread of COVID-19. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.

NOTICE FOR MOBILE FOOD PANTRY ON 3/25/20: Those planning on picking up food between 4pm-6:30pm on Wednesday at the bus garage will need to enter via the McGregor Rd entrance (NOT THE M36 ENTRANCE) as we are expecting a large turn-out. This distribution is open to ANY and ALL families in the community with children.

Although there is a new "Stay Home" Executive Order issued today, we are still able to provide food to our students and community who are in need. Please see the upcoming dates/times that are available this week:
School Breakfast/Lunch: Tuesday & Thursday 4pm-5:30pm at Pathfinder.
Mobile Food Pantry: Wednesday, 5pm-6:30pm at Transportation/Bus Garage. (PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS DISTRIBUTION WILL BE FOCUSING ON STUDENT-CENTERED FOOD OPTIONS)
Farley Hill Food Pantry: Thursday, 1pm-3:30pm (FOOD WILL BE BROUGHT TO VEHICLES, PREPACKAGED. FAMILIES WILL NOT BE GIVEN THE OPTION TO SHOP IN THE INTEREST OF SAFETY.)
Just a reminder that we will be distributing school lunches this afternoon (4pm-5:30pm) in front of Pathfinder. The Farley Hill Food Bank will also be open this evening from 5pm-6:00pm. We still have some K-6 work packets available.

Reminder for those families in need that we will be offering our mobile food pantry on Wed. (3/18) from 5pm-6pm in the PCS Transportation/Bus garage (next to Pathfinder School). Full meals are provided with items such as turkey, potatoes, apple sauce, fruit, etc.
In times like this, we see the true spirit of our community as a parent just dropped off $500 worth of gift cards to be donated to our Farley Hill Food Pantry. My heart is full with pride and my eyes with tears of hope. #piratestrong #piratescare

Following Governor Whitmer's recent announcement to close all Michigan schools, PCS will be closed for Friday, March 13 and will look to reopen on Monday, April 6. ALL events/activities are canceled, which includes Latchkey services. We will continue to keep you updated.

Although I sent an update earlier today, this current situation is ever-changing and as of 5 pm this evening, new guidelines have been presented that have initiated the five Livingston County Schools to post a united letter on behalf of our local schools and communities. Please see the attached letter that provides information regarding changes to school trips, athletics, after school activities and community events.
