Good evening Pirates. Although our roads are beginning to be plowed, we are still experiencing many icy back roads and given the continued light snow, wind and cold temps, conditions are not expected to improve, but rather, may worsen over night. Erring on the side of caution, PCS will be closed on Friday, Feb. 4.
Given that school is closed on Thursday, Feb. 3, the Farley Hill Food Pantry will also be closed. We will continue to serve our community on Thursday, Feb. 10. Thank you.
Good evening Pirates! It should not come as a surprise that the roads are in extremely poor condition and are expected to only get worse throughout the evening. The road commission does not expect that they will be able to touch the back roads until tomorrow at the earliest. Thus, school is canceled for Thursday, Feb. 3. Enjoy your day!
This is the announcement many of you have been waiting for. Given the impending snow that is calculating snow accumulations of up to 12 inches, PCS will be canceling school for tomorrow, Feb. 2. Further decisions regarding Thursday will be made as more info becomes available. Enjoy your snow day!
