We are always looking at ways to spruce up some areas around the district and given that the Complex Gym area is one of most widely used spaces for our community, we thought we would start here by representing some Pirate Pride. Looks fantastic!

A BIG "Thank You!" goes out to our HS PTO for raising the funds for the new skins that will welcome students, parents and visitors to our beautiful school. It looks fantastic!

Great fun being had today at both Navigator and Farley Hill's field day activities. I especially loved seeing Farley Hill's principal, Yvonne Taylor being squirted by her lovely students. #endofyearfun

Congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2019! As I stated in my opening address to the students, you have been and will always be part of our Pirate Family and we will continue encouraging, supporting and cheering for you as you enter the next chapter of your story.

It's almost time! #PCSfamily #classof2019

In just less than 2 hours, we will be sending off the Class of 2019! Couldn't ask for a better day or venue to celebrate our tremendous students.

Love seeing our graduating seniors walk through the halls of our schools as they are recognized by their peers, teachers and school staff. #piratepride

Congratulations to Reece Ohmer, who was recently named as a 2019 Positive Athlete of Michigan Award Winner. She will be the lone representative of the more than 3,000 high school girl golfers across the state of Michigan. She, along with 28 other student athletes representing their specific sport, will be honored at a pregame ceremony on the field of the Detroit Tigers game on June 25th. Positive Athlete is looking for athletes who have overcome difficult circumstances, given back to their schools and communities, or just have an infectious positive attitude. Reece has all of these. She will be representing Pinckney Community Schools proudly on June 25th at Comerica Park. Great job Reece as we are so proud of your accomplishment!

Celebrating a great year with our 8th graders with a dinner and award ceremony. All the best to the Class of 2023 as they get ready to enter high school in the fall.

It is always a great honor to have our students involved in our hometown Memorial Day Parade. Thanks to all those who have served our great country, especially those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. God Bless America!

Congrats to PCS Alum, Carlie Sleeman, who recently graduated from West Point Academy and will be entering the Army as 2nd Lieutenant and will be focusing on cyber security. We are proud of Carlie's accomplishment and thankful for her commitment to serving our great nation.

There is something special about connecting multiple age groups in learning as everyone seems to benefit, as evidence by the smiles on both the HS Juniors and Country Kindergartners.

Always a great time as our freshman class, teachers and even administrators get involved in the annual Pirate Regatta event. One of the many highlights was watching Mr. Sharon and Mrs. Woods sail (or sink) in their boat "Great Minds Sink Alike" #Piratefun

Enjoyed visiting the 8th Grade Portfolio event last night as it is so rewarding to see our students hard work as their portfolios represent a lifetime of accomplishments, experiences and relationships.

Upon walking through Navigator this morning, I had the opportunity to visit with our Farley Hill & Country 3rd graders who were learning about all the things they have waiting for them in 4th grade next year. So awesome to see them excited about moving up to Navigator Upper EL.

What a fantastic evening of music as our students (5th-12th grade) played alongside the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra. Kuddos to our orchestra teacher, Jeff Campbell, for keeping this tradition alive as it seems to keep getting better with each year!

Champions! Seems to be the theme of the day😁. #Piratepride

Congratulations to our Girls Varsity Soccer team for winning the SEC Championship today with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Dexter. Go PIRATES!!

Thank you to Senator Gary Peters for spending the morning with our students as they took the opportunity to showcase our CTE programs.

CTE Open House provides opportunities for students to showcase their various talents in metals, videogame design and business management. This is not your grandparents high school experience. #Education #Innovation #Possibilities
