There is nothing like the excitement and energy that comes with the 1st day of school. What's even more rewarding is seeing how all of our staff go above and beyond in making our students feel welcomed and valued. What I witnessed today filled me with tears of pride.

We are so very fortunate to be in a county with educational leaders that are willing to be collaborative as we establish Livingston County's first true Curriculum Leadership Council that includes both Superintendents and Curriculum Directors from the five public school districts.
Kudos to our fabulous Pinckney bus drivers who won the coveted "Rodeo" Championship yesterday at LESA! The event requires drivers to navigate a series of obstacles and challenges and they have proven themselves to be the best in the county (But we already knew that 😉) GO PIRATES
